The HITH Society would like to celebrate the enormous contribution over many years of Jan Coconis to Hospital in the Home. Jan recently retired from HITH at Prince of Wales Hospital where she made an enormous contribution for many years, being one of the first nurses in the HITH service, co-authored many seminal papers on HITH as well as being a founding executive member of the HITH Society. So the Society is inaugurating The Jan Coconis Scholarship for leadership in the field of HITH, as demonstrated by contribution to the Society, research, or otherwise to the development of HITH. The Scholarship is worth $2,000 and is intended to pay for the recipient's attendance at the HITH Society Annual Scientific Conference, and other educational needs or for research.
