Chairperson: Lindsay Craig

What we do

Quarterly meetings are conducted face-to-face and via teleconference for rural and interstate members.
Activities include:

  • Provision of education
  • Quality projects
  • Professional support

What’s New / Upcoming Events

The AH Interest Group continues to meet quarterly on the first Thursday of the month at the Cumberland Hospital (North Parramatta) grounds where the Post Acute Community Care (PACC) Team is located.

The August meeting just held continued to make progress with the following:

  1. Clinical Guidelines Project – AH members worked on two areas which included orthopaedics and falls prevention. The aim of this project is to have a AH resource for HITH services that can be utilised by all the different teams/services.
  2. Google Docs – Discussion involved the difficulty with accessing this program. The long term plan will enable all teams/services to access and update the information entered onto Google Docs easily and efficiently, rather than via email updates.
  3. This meeting also included a Presentation: Cumberland Prospect Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centres – presented by Etelka Stone (Office Manager / Community Promotions Coordinator).
