About the event

Professor Alan Wigg and Kylie Bragg from the Flinders Medical Centre liver team, together with Tammy Cates from Silverchain, explore the emerging role of home-based albumin infusions for patients with cirrhosis. The session outlines the clinical rationale, patient selection, and evidence underpinning regular albumin therapy, as well as the practical considerations and benefits of delivering this care in the home environment. This presentation highlights a promising approach to improving quality of life and reducing hospital demand for patients with advanced liver disease.
